Yes. Open Data Import, upload a CSV or Excel export from your old software, match its columns to Dentospire's fields and check the preview before importing. Patients, treatments and invoices can each be brought in, and any row that fails validation is skipped and reported instead of being saved half-filled. On the Free plan an import cannot take the clinic past its patient limit.

Yes. Each clinic's data is encrypted, kept separate from every other clinic's and backed up automatically every night. Staff see only what their role allows, clinical notes lock from editing after a day with an audit trail kept, and patient data is never sold or shared outside your own clinic. Dentospire is aligned with India's DPDP Act, and current hosting and sub-processors are listed at /privacy and /sub-processors.

Yes. Dentospire works in the browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop, and you can install it on the home screen like an app. The same clinic, patients and records appear on every device you sign in on.

No. Dentospire runs in your browser, so you sign up, sign in and start. It works on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and voice dictation needs Chrome or Edge.

Yes, for clinics in India with WhatsApp switched on. Patients with an appointment the next day get a reminder on WhatsApp from a business sender rather than a staff member's phone, with SMS as a fallback and an email where the address is on file. A patient who replies STOP is not messaged on WhatsApp again, and message allowances depend on the plan.

Yes. Dentospire raises GST invoices with the CGST and SGST or IGST split worked out from the clinic's and the patient's state, records full or part payments, and lets you print or share the bill. For the accountant it can export a Tally sales file and a GSTR-1 sales report built from the same invoices; it does not file returns itself.

Everything already in your clinic stays safe and viewable, but you cannot add new patients past the limit until you move to a paid plan. Starter and above have unlimited patients, and nothing is deleted or locked away if you stay on Free.

It works through your sensor's own software, and is set up for Vatech EzDent-i and Sirona Sidexis only. The X-ray bridge takes each RVG or OPG image from that software, which sends it as DICOM, and files it into the right patient's record; if your software cannot send DICOM, the bridge can watch a folder instead. Other sensor software that can send DICOM may work but is not listed, you keep your sensor and its software as they are, and the bridge is included on every paid plan.

Yes. Consent forms are available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese and Urdu. The patient signs on screen, then the doctor and, where needed, a witness; the form locks after the patient signs and every signature is logged. You can also print a consent for a pen signature.

Yes. You can add receptionists, assistants and visiting doctors as team members, each with role-based access, and you decide what each person can see and do, from billing to patient records.

Dentospire is designed to be easy to start and safe to run: it works in your browser with nothing to install, and each clinic's data is encrypted and kept separate from every other clinic's. DARA is the assistant built into Dentospire that answers questions about your own clinic in plain English, for example "How many patients this week?", "Which bills are still unpaid?" or "Today's revenue summary". It works from your live clinic data and only answers; it does not change records. Alongside DARA, Dentospire highlights areas on X-rays for the dentist to review and drafts clinical notes from your voice for you to check.

Each plan has a daily allowance of AI queries that grows with the plan, and Enterprise has no cap on daily queries. The allowance covers X-ray review, SOAP drafting, the clinical chatbot and the other AI features, and the exact amounts are on the pricing page.

Yes. Dentospire generates an analytics PDF with a cover page, an executive summary, a performance scorecard, a health score and recommendations for improvement, without individual patient names for privacy.

Every core workflow (Patients, Appointments, Treatments, Prescriptions, Imaging, Lab, Invoices, Communication, Inventory, Reports and Settings) has its own top-level item in the sidebar, with closely related items (like Watchlist under Patients, or Collections under Invoices) nested directly underneath. Nothing important is buried behind an extra menu.

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Add each branch, switch between them from the top of the screen or choose All Branches, and compare each branch's patients, visits, revenue and expenses on one page. Revenue and expense figures show only for people with the Finance permission, and every branch shares one clinic account and one patient database.

As many as you add: multi-branch comes with the Enterprise plan, and Dentospire does not put a cap on how many branches an account has. A solo practice that opens a second location and a group with many locations use the same account, the same patient database and the same branch switcher.

Yes. Dentospire generates fitness, medical leave and treatment certificates, each with an auto-filled template, the clinic letterhead, the doctor's signature and a one-click PDF download.

The patient ledger is a running account for each patient, listing invoices as debits and payments as credits in date order with the balance after each line. Summary cards show the total invoiced, the total paid and the outstanding balance.

Not the note itself: Dentospire locks notes and treatment entries a day after they are written, which protects you if a patient ever disputes a treatment later. You can still change the status (for example, mark a treatment as paid or completed), and a full audit trail of every edit is kept.

Fast Mode is Dentospire's one-screen flow for a whole patient visit, taking you from choosing the patient to consent, treatment, payment and prescription, and writing everything into the clinic's normal records. It includes a medical alerts banner, partial payment, follow-up booking and a printable or shareable summary.

Add your Google Review link in Settings. From a patient's profile, one click copies a personalised review-request message that you can send to the patient by SMS or email.

Yes, for a group that wants to run several locations from one account. The Enterprise plan adds multi-branch mode, where you switch between branches and compare each one's patients, visits, revenue and expenses, and it has no cap on team members or daily AI queries. Yes, on OPG (panoramic) and RVG radiographs. The software marks areas for the dentist to review, tooth by tooth, and the dentist confirms, corrects or adds to them before anything is saved. It is decision support, and the dentist remains the final authority on every clinical call.
