Moving off paper and Excel
Paper is not the problem people think it is. It works fine, right up to the moments it does not: the file that cannot be found while the patient waits, the register that only one person can read, the year of billing that exists on one laptop. Moving off it is mostly about not losing what you already have.
What usually goes wrong
- Records are findable only by the person who filed them
- One machine holds the billing history, and it is not backed up
- Patient history is reconstructed by asking the patient
- Nobody wants a migration that loses a decade of records

Search by phone number, name or ID and the chart, last visit, outstanding balance and pending plan come up together — so finding a record does not depend on who filed it.
Not on one machine any more
The system runs in a browser on phone, tablet and desktop, with encrypted backups you can export yourself. The clinic's records stop living on a single hard disk.
Works when the internet does not
Charting, visit entry and prescriptions continue offline and sync when the connection returns — which matters more in practice than it sounds.

Import is available on every plan including free. Enterprise adds hands-on migration help if the source data is messy enough to need it.
