Fast Mode — One Screen for the Whole Visit

Fast Mode is Dentospire's one-screen chairside flow that takes a dental visit from choosing the patient to consent, treatment, payment and prescription, writing everything into the clinic's normal records.

The problem in a real clinic

A walk-in with a toothache means opening the patient, then the chart, then billing, then the prescription pad, each on its own screen. When the waiting room is full, the bill or the consent is what gets left for later, and later rarely comes.

How it works

Open Fast Mode and pick the patient from today's list — booked in, already seen or registered today — or register a new one, typing or speaking in English or an Indian language.
On the Visit step, record the complaint and mark teeth on the tooth chart; each tooth you mark is added to the findings line you are writing.
Take consent before treatment: sign it on screen, or print it for a pen signature.
Add the treatment rows, then take payment for today's bill and, if the patient owes from earlier visits, collect towards those old dues separately.
Write the prescription, or reuse the last prescription's medicines with one button, and finish on a summary of everything recorded.

What you see on screen

The seven steps across the top — Patient, Visit, Consent, Treatment, Payment, Rx, Done — so you always know what is left.
For a follow-up sitting, a button to start from the previous visit's complaint, findings and treatment, dropped into fields you can change.
An X-ray picked or captured at the chair as a list of findings with checkboxes, which reach the chart only when you press Add to chart.

What the patient gets

A consent form in the clinic's default document language, signed on screen or printed to sign by pen.
A bill for today's treatment, with money paid towards older visits receipted against those older bills.
A prescription from the same visit.

Safety and control

It writes into the same visit, treatment, invoice and prescription records as the rest of Dentospire, so nothing has to be copied across later.
Consent sits before treatment in the flow rather than after it.
X-ray findings are decision support: you untick what does not apply, and nothing reaches the chart until you press Add to chart.
Old dues are never folded into today's bill, which would misstate it for tax.
Anything prefilled from a previous visit or prescription lands in editable fields and is never saved on your behalf.

Good to know

Notes you type are kept as a draft on that device for a day, so closing the browser mid-visit does not lose them — but only on the same device.
Speaking a new patient's details needs Chrome or Edge, and every field it fills should be checked before saving.
It is built for a single visit. Long treatment plans, quotations and insurance claims are handled from the patient's full record.

What is Fast Mode in Dentospire?

Can Fast Mode take a dental consent signed with a pen?

How does Fast Mode handle a patient who owes money from earlier visits?

Old dues show separately from today's bill. Money you collect towards them is receipted against the older invoices, oldest first, and today's bill stays exactly what was done today.

Can Fast Mode repeat what was done at a patient's last visit?

Yes, as a starting point. One button fills the complaint, findings and treatment from the previous visit, and another reuses the last prescription's medicines. Everything lands in editable fields, and the cost is left blank for you to enter.
